High resolution and crystal clear imagery allow replacement of up to 24 analog cameras, without separate power supplies, thereby reducing the total cost of installation. No need to supply a separate power source, since the power can be drawn from a low cost Power-over-Ethernet switch. High resolution digital zoom. Simultaneous viewing of zoomed and full field of view images. Built-in real time motion detection with size and sensitivity controls for up to 64 separate motion detection zones per channel. Playback of high-resolution digital archives allows "zoom-after-event" on any object in the field of view, eliminating the need for manned installations. Efficient bandwidth utilization supported via user-selectable region of interest (ROI). The reduction of overall storage and bandwidth requirements may be achieved by selecting up to 4 regions of interest with independent control  of resolution and compression quality for each of the selected regions.
