	It watches the wide-angle video. When there is detected motion in the field of view, it automatically directs your PTZ camera to zoom in and look at the activity. In addition the Close View appliance deploys an alarm output to trigger recording.

Camera control: RS-232 or RS-485/422 protocol with Sub D 9 pin male connector for PTZ camera and Sub D 9 pin female connector for optional remote control from joystick or DVR. External control protocol: Pelco P. Optional manual override of PTZ control through external controller.

Adjustable object size for detection: minimum/maximum.

Two target selection modes:

	Stick with one target only
	Toggle between all detected targets.

Automatic return of camera to overview position on inactivity.

10 freely adjustable exclusion areas. PTZ area won't follow targets into these areas.

Interactive calibration: works for arbitrary mounts and orientation of overview and PTZ camera. Supports reference cameras with opening angles up to 170 degrees. Interactive calibration using selected markers. On-screen help for calibration process.
